Welcome to OptionsDesk ("the App"), a macOS application designed to help traders model options strategies, build and manage portfolios, estimate potential future price movements based on volatility metrics, compare trading strategies, and improve trading analysis.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information OptionsDesk collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

OptionsDesk is an analysis and productivity tool. It is not a brokerage platform and does not execute trades.
Any portfolio data, positions, option strategies, or calculations you enter are used solely to provide features within the App and are not shared or sold for advertising purposes.
The App does not require access to your brokerage account credentials unless you explicitly connect to a third-party integration (if supported in future versions).

Your portfolios, strategies, journals, preferences, and calculations may be stored locally on your Mac.
If cloud synchronization is offered in the future, data may also be securely stored using the selected cloud provider.
If you choose to enable synchronization features, your data may be stored using Apple's iCloud services or another secure cloud provider to synchronize information across your devices.
Cloud storage is subject to the privacy practices and security measures of the relevant provider.

This website. Separately from the application, optionsdeskapp.pro uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used. It sets cookies and identifiers recording which pages you view, how long you spend on them, how you arrived, and your device, browser and approximate location. Google derives that location from your IP address and does not store the IP address itself in Analytics.
We see this only as aggregate reports — visitor counts, popular pages, traffic sources — and do not use it to identify you. Google's handling of the data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or by browsing in private mode.
The iOS app, from OptionsDesk 2.1 onward. Earlier versions contained no third-party analytics. From version 2.1, OptionsDesk for iPhone and iPad includes Google Analytics for Firebase, which reports how the app is used — which screens are opened, which features are used, session length, crashes, and general device information such as iOS version and device model. It is tied to a randomly generated app instance identifier, not to your name or email, and it does not use the advertising identifier.
Your positions, portfolios, saved scenarios and any market data you enter are not sent to Google or to us. You can turn app analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
You may delete locally stored information at any time by removing it from the App or uninstalling the App, subject to any cloud backups you have enabled.
OptionsDesk is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and is not directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, depending on the services you use. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where required by applicable law.

The App does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Calculations or projections generated by the App should not be relied upon as guarantees of future market performance. Users remain solely responsible for their own trading and investment decisions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will become effective when the revised policy is published within the App or otherwise made available to users.
Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
